I just ate a Chocolove Almonds & Sea Salt in Dark Chocolate bar . DELICIOUS!
I feel great! I’m flying on cloud nine! I just LOVE how really GOOD chocolate makes me feel after eating it. It gives me a boost!
I tell people, I don’t smoke, drink or do drugs but I Do Chocolate! Mmmmm! That IS my high. Really GOOD chocolate. I will eat the lesser kinds but honestly it doesn’t leave me feeling as Good. For real y’all. The Good stuff leaves me satisfied and sometimes craving for more. The not-so-good stuff many times leaves me feeling guilty. That I shouldn’t-have-eaten-it guilt. But the GOOD stuff. Guilt-Free. Leaves me thinking, I don’t want to brush my teeth and erase the last traces of this good stuff from my mouth. So that’s why I’m sitting here still typing away on this blog procrastinating from doing just that. Mmmmmmmm!
I feel like that can be a metaphor for life. When you allow yourself to experience the Good-Stuff, have high quality experiences, you are left feeling satisfied, feeling alive, feeling excited for more. Whereas the lower, lesser qualitative experiences, leave you feeling less-than, depletes your energy, leaves you feeling lacking and wishing you could hit the rewind button. I’m really doing my best to choose high quality interactions, attract high quality people in my life and nurture high quality thoughts for myself. It’s time for consistently living in the Black.
My top 7 Chocolates:
- Godiva Truffles & Bars
- Green & Black’s Organic Milk Chocolate
- Dagoba Organic Chocolate Chai
- Chocolove Almonds & Sea Salt in Dark Chocolate
- Guylian Belgian Chocolates
- Ferrero Rocher Hazelnut Chocolates
- See’s Chocolate Buttercream Truffle
Love the chocolate metaphor! You’re right, seeking high quality chocolate and experiences leaves you feeling satiated. They’re sometimes far and few between, but the experience is very rich. On the other hand, cheap chocolate and mediocre experiences are a dime a dozen. Amen. I’ve allowed myself to eat too much cheap chocolate and it shows. 🙁
Now is the perfect time to make a change. Really, NOW is always the perfect time to make any change and it is the ONLY possible way. So no matter how often we may eat the “cheap’ stuff (chocolate/ interactions/ words/etc.), we can always choose NOW to change.
